The EinScan Pro 2X 2020 is a professional handheld Structured Light 3D scanner. It is an improved version of the EinScan Pro 2X that boasts a larger scanning area, upgraded Handheld HD scanning mode for better accuracy and speed, and new alignment modes that let you align the data based on features as well as markers. Efficient and versatile, the scanner is extremely easy to use, besides, it comes ready to scan out of the box. Its handy and lightweight design makes it easily transportable, just like a laptop. As part of the 2X series, which also includes the Pro 2X Plus version, the EinScan Pro 2X 2020 boasts its fast scan speed, high accuracy, and expandability. It is a high-precision 3D scanner that creates astonishingly accurate renders that reflect all the intricacies of an original. It operates in four different modes and can be expanded with two additional modules to fulfill any 3D scanning need.

The EinScan Pro 2X 2020 is a handheld 3D scanner that delivers high-precision scans and captures everything up to the last detail. It can achieve an unparalleled level of accuracy up to 0.04 mm, which, paired with a max. resolution of 0.2 mm means that this 3D scanner will be a perfect choice for any type of project, including the most challenging ones. You can use the markers supplied with the scanner to enhance the volumetric accuracy of the scan even more.

Scan volume

The EinScan Pro 2X 2020 has a scan area of 150 × 120 mm - 250 × 200 mm and works at a minimum point distance of 0.2 mm. It can catch accurate details of either small and medium-sized objects.

Addons

In case you wish to upgrade the scanner to have even more functionality, you can add the Industrial Pack and/or Color Pack to your order.

The Color Pack add-on provides you with an additional HD camera that lets you take full-color scans while also capturing the texture of a scanned object.

Scanner controls

This compact handheld 3D scanner operates through a plugged computer. The scanner has been integrated with an intuitive UI that lets you perform scanning with ease, let alone the fact that the device weighs just 1.13kg, allowing for quick and easy transportation.

Software

The scanner comes bundled with the EXSCAN PRO, the new in-house developed software aimed at user convenience and an easy 3D scanning experience. It has been designed to streamline the overall process by providing a complete solution for 3D scanning management. Fast and intuitive, it automatically fixes the scan settings according to the mode selected. A special Operation Mode lets you adjust the scanning speed during the process while setting the final resolution at the end of the work. The program supports a variety of formats, including STL, OBJ, PLY, ASC, and P3.

EinScan Pro 2X also includes a bespoke Solid Edge SHINING 3D Edition. This special version of the software has been developed in collaboration with Siemens PLM Software and it has been tailored to the EinScan Pro 2x lineup. It enables reverse engineering, generative design, convergent and synchronous modeling. It also works as a CAD tool.
